Nagado (Miya) daiko/長胴(宮)太鼓

Nagado daiko, also called "Miya daiko" is the most popular type of wadaiko. In many cases, they are used for the main parts of the performance, producing a heavy, "stomach-shaking" sound.


Our Steve Shell ELM taiko is strong and has a thick body, weighing approx 25kg (1.6 shaku). We are confident in its durability.
